Software Engineer - Quality & Automation (up to SGD$1300) (Competitive Salary)

-Learn customer products, users, workflows, architecture, and risks. Plan coverage and perform hands-on manual, exploratory, functional, regression, and release testing. -Build and maintain reliable automated tests within TestFirst. -Reproduce failures and identify root causes using technical tools and source code. -Implement authorized bug fixes, add regression tests, and submit reviewable changes. -Document findings and communicate quality and release risks to customer stakeholders. -Manage test environments and track coverage, automation health, and outstanding risks. -Use TestFirst and company-provided AI tools critically while validating their output and following all security and access requirements.

-One to three years of software development, SDET, or technical automationexperience. -Experience building real applications and investigating and fixing defects. -Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or another programming language. -Ability to understand, debug, and safely modify unfamiliar codebases. -Understanding of web applications, APIs, databases, and software-testing principles. -Commitment to hands-on manual and exploratory testing as a core part of the role—not only automation or coding. -Ability to use Git, developer tools, and command-line utilities. -Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to explain technical findings clearly. -A proactive working style, reliable availability, and dependable power and internet connectivity. Helpful experience -React, Node.js, or another modern web-development stack. -Broad hands-on manual testing experience across web and mobile products. -Unit testing, API testing, or SQL. -CI/CD, Docker, cloud platforms, or application monitoring. -Jira or another issue-management platform. -AI-assisted development or customer-facing technical work.
