Company Info
They are a Singapore-based creative media agency specializing in photography, videography, graphic design, website development, digital marketing, and social media management.
They are an aquatic services company in Singapore. They teach people to swim, we train and certify swim professionals, and we provide lifeguard manpower across the island.
Job Description
- Editing high volumes of short-form video for Meta, TikTok and YouTube Shorts hooks, reels, ads, testimonials
turning raw footage, screen recordings and AI-generated clips into scroll-stopping content
cutting multiple hook and angle variations of the same video so we can test what converts
adding captions, subtitles, motion graphics, sound design and on-brand text overlays
repurposing long footage into many short, platform-native pieces
shipping fast, taking feedback, and iterating without ego
But this role is not just about cutting clips together.
We want someone who looks at a video and asks: “How do we make this hook harder and hold attention longer?”
Someone who takes ownership of the result, not just the task.
Job Requirements
This role is for someone who:
genuinely loves editing, storytelling and short-form content
studies viral videos and great ads out of curiosity
is obsessed with hooks, retention and what makes people watch
already uses AI tools to work faster and ships at speed
wants to become genuinely world-class at content that converts
If you just want a job, you probably won't enjoy this.
But if you want to get really, really good at this craft, this can be an incredible opportunity.
You'll learn what actually makes content perform not theory, but real views, real leads, real bookings.
You'll see:
how we build hooks and angles that stop the scroll
how we turn a content idea into a repeatable production system
how we connect a video all the way to a booked customer
the experiments we run and the changes we make as we scale
Most editors never get to see whether their work actually converts. Here, you will.
WHAT THIS COULD BECOME
If you perform well, this role can grow into much more.
Job Requirements
This is a full-time role.
You cannot be:
running another business
freelancing for other clients
working another job
You'll need:
a proven track record editing short-form video (bring a real portfolio — reels, ads, content you've shipped)
strong command of editing tools — Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or similar
comfort with motion graphics and basic After Effects is a strong plus a good eye for pacing, captions, sound and what makes a hook land
high proficiency with AI creative tools — with real examples you can show a reliable internet and power setup (backup connectivity strongly preferred, given remote work from Yangon)
working English for written communication and feedback
This is a fully remote role — work from wherever you're set up to do great work.
What matters is:
the quality of your work
whether the content performs
whether you take ownership
Compensation includes:
a full-time salary
performance-based bonuses tied to content results
fully remote work
You'll show us:
3 short-form edits (mix of styles) made for Meta and TikTok
at least 2 different hook variations of one of those videos
captions, sound and any graphics you'd add
a short note on why you cut it the way you did
Your work doesn't have to be perfect. You don't have all the information about the business yet.
What we care about is how you think, how fast you ship, and how you approach the problem.
If you look at our current content and think something isn't good, we're completely open to hearing it — as long as your reasoning makes sense. We'd much rather you challenge our thinking than just agree with us.
Final Conversation
If the challenge goes well, we'll have a final conversation.
We'll talk about:
how the role would actually work
your goals
whether we can help you get there
compensation and next steps
We don't think of this as a typical interview. It's a conversation to see whether working together makes sense for both of us.
WHY THIS PROCESS EXISTS
This process is designed this way for a reason.
If you join, we want you to stay and grow for a long time. We'll put serious effort into helping you become extremely good at content. But that means we both need to be confident this is the right fit.
This process helps us understand three things:
Whether you'll stay. This role is demanding. If someone joins and leaves after two months because the pace is too much, we've both wasted our time. We want people with strong work ethic and high pain tolerance.
Your aptitude. We want to see whether you already have the raw eye for hooks, pacing and storytelling. If the foundation is there, we can help you grow fast.
Whether we click. You'll work closely with our team. So the chemistry matters.
ONE LAST THING
If you look at this process and think: “Wow, that's a lot of work.” Then that's completely fine. This role probably isn't for you.
But if you look at it and think: “This actually sounds exciting.” Then we'd love to hear from you.
