Job Description
Build, debug and maintain low-code automated tests inside IDE-style environment, using engineering judgment to design reliable and reusable coverage.
Learn assigned customer products, workflows, users and technical architecture.
Develop risk-based test strategies, test cases, test plans and regression coverage.
Perform exploratory, functional, integration, regression and release testing.
Investigate failures using browser developer tools, network requests, logs,
databases, APIs and source code.
Produce actionable defect reports with clear evidence, impact and reproduction steps.
Work directly with developers, product managers, founders and other customer
stakeholders.
• Manage test environments, accounts, test data and release-readiness activities.
• Track test coverage, automation, run health and outstanding product risks.
• Provide concise weekly updates and periodic quality reports.
• Use AI tools effectively while critically reviewing their output.
• Protect customer information and follow all security and access requirements.
• One to three years of professional software-development, SDET or technical automation experience.
• Training and certification will be provided, but candidates must be comfortable working with structured logic in an IDE-like environment.
• Experience building or contributing to real software applications.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language; JavaScript/TypeScript or Python is
preferred.
• Understanding of web applications, HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, authentication and
databases.
• Ability to use Git, browser developer tools and command-line utilities.
• Willingness to perform thoughtful manual and exploratory testing—not only
automation.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Ability to explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive working style and the ability to take ownership with limited supervision.
• Reliable availability, power and internet connectivity.
